In high school, he lettered in football, basketball, and track, and was a member of the National Honor Society. His leadership skills were evident early on as he served as the co-editor of his senior yearbook.

After high school, Mark embarked on an impressive 49.5-year career in the printing industry. His extensive experience includes significant achievements and recognition within the field. Mark served as a judge for the Flexographic Technical Association (FTA) Awards for several years and was honored with the prestigious FTA President’s Award in 2010. His leadership was further acknowledged when he chaired the FTA Forum in Indianapolis in 2011.
