Lafayette Crawford
Board Member
In addition to his professional accomplishments, Lafayette is deeply involved in his community. He serves as the Co-Chair of Deacons at Snellville Christian Church and as an Assistant Instructor at Choe’s Hapkido Grayson.
His certifications include disruptive Lean Six Sigma, HR Recruitment Metrics, Management Consulting, Digital Marketing, and Growth Strategies.
Mark Philpott

In addition to his professional accomplishments, Mark has a rich history of leadership in nonprofit organizations. He has held significant roles in the Boy Scouts of America, numerous churches, and Family Promise, where his strategic development and leadership skills have made a substantial impact. His experience in strategy development, project management, and church small group leadership further exemplifies his commitment to community service.
Carly Coffman
Board Member
In addition to a career in education, Carly has experience in real estate, specifically skills in property management and tenant relations, which are valuable in understanding housing stability issues.
Carly has also been an active outreach ministry leader for seven years at Snellville Christian Church, leading community service initiatives and supporting local community needs.
Mark Coffman

Mark's dedication to excellence and his vast experience in a highly technical industry translate into a strong ability to manage complex projects and lead initiatives.
His strategic thinking and problem-solving skills will be crucial in helping the Gwinnett County Community Development Corporation fulfill its mission of providing transitional housing and support services.
Pamela Phillpot
Committee Member
Pamela pursued higher education at the University of Ottawa, where she earned a degree in nursing. Throughout her professional career, she has garnered extensive experience in the healthcare industry. Pamela has served as a hospital nurse and a community nurse and has experience in midwifery, showcasing her versatility and commitment to healthcare. For more than three and a half decades, Pam has applied the knowledge, skills, and experience she gained in her professional life to volunteer community service, most notably with the Crisis Pregnancy Centers and Family Promise, as well as numerous school support roles.
Sterling Crawford
Committee Member
Sterling Crawford brings extensive experience and a passionate commitment to the mission of the Gwinnett County Community Development Corporation.
In addition to her real estate expertise, Sterling has contributed to curriculum development in osteopathic medical higher education and has experience in life insurance. Her ability to develop effective educational programs and her understanding of financial services make her a well-rounded professional with valuable insights into various aspects of community support and development.
Rick Kirkland
Committee Member
Rick is well-versed in religion and community service, as well as technology. The North American Mission Board approved him as an evangelist catalyst and ordained minister of the gospel. Rick was a Minister of Education, Executive Pastor, and Certified Transitional Pastor. He is a Certified Church Planter and has substantial church administration experience.
Rick's commitment to service extends to his role as a police chaplain, certified by the Georgia Association of Law Enforcement Chaplains. His dedication to supporting law enforcement and the community underscores his deep-rooted commitment to helping others.
